Most IXCs (National) Frame Relay providers use regional access points and provision whole T1 access loops to the customer location. One of the largest providers of Frame service has only two access points in the state of California . For companies with locations outside of the access points LATA the access loop itself often accounts for more than half of the cost of the Frame service.
